Accessibility Statement

econcess GmbH wants its website www.econcess.de to be accessible to everyone. As a private company, we voluntarily follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with these requirements. According to our review, the core pages (home page, service pages, blog overview, contact, imprint, privacy policy and the English version) meet the level AA criteria. Some content is not yet fully accessible (see below).

What we have implemented

  • The main menu can be fully operated with the keyboard (Tab, Enter, Escape); keyboard focus is visible.
  • The image slider on the home page can be paused, stops while it has keyboard focus and does not play automatically if “reduce motion” is enabled in your operating system.
  • Links and controls have accessible names, and text meets the contrast requirements.
  • The contact form has labelled fields and spam protection without visual puzzles (a background calculation, no third-party service).
  • The icon in the bottom right corner lets you adjust font size, contrast and other display options.

Non-accessible content

  • Older blog posts: some images have missing or insufficient alternative texts, and the heading structure is not always correct. We are revising these posts step by step.
  • Code examples: in technical blog posts, code examples are sometimes embedded as images or without a language marker.
  • Many blog posts are only available in German.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 27 October 2026. It is based on a self-assessment: an automated test of the core pages with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 A/AA and a manual check of keyboard operation.
