1. Select the desired text and font.
2. Make sure that View -> Smart Guides is enabled.
3. Then select Type -> Create Outlines.
4. Object -> Ungroup.
5. Now you can select each individual letter instead of the entire word. You can edit each letter according to your preferences.
Try it yourself: Make the letters bigger or smaller, or move them to a 45-degree angle. The possibilities are endless!
